Boglands Gift Vouchers · Last updated: 22 October 2026

1. Who we are

These vouchers are sold by Wandering Albatross Ltd, trading as Boglands, Gorteen, Daingean, Co. Offaly, Ireland. Email: info@boglands.ie. Phone: 087 911 9401. Company registration (CRO) no. 435216. VAT no. IE9659755L.

2. The voucher

A Boglands gift voucher is a prepaid voucher with a unique code that can be put towards bookings at bog.ie/book/ (Boglands Academy vouchers: learn.boglands.ie). Vouchers are emailed to the buyer within 24 hours of purchase as a PDF showing the value, code and expiry date.

3. Validity and your rights under the Gift Vouchers Act 2019

  • Each voucher is valid for 5 years from the date of issue. The expiry date is stated in writing on the voucher emailed to you.
  • You do not have to use the full value in one go. A voucher can be used across more than one booking.
  • If a balance of €1 or more remains after a booking, we will issue a new voucher code for the balance with the same expiry date as the original, or refund the balance.
  • More than one voucher can be used towards a booking.
  • There is no fee to change the name on a voucher.
  • Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, except where the law requires a refund of a balance.

4. Your 14-day right to cancel

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, if you buy a voucher online as a consumer you may cancel within 14 days of the day of purchase without giving a reason, provided the voucher has not been used. To cancel, email info@boglands.ie with your name, order number and the words “I wish to cancel my voucher order”. We will cancel the voucher code and refund you in full, using the same payment method, within 14 days of receiving your cancellation.

After 14 days, or once a voucher has been used (in whole or in part) towards a booking, the purchase cannot be cancelled or refunded. This does not affect your right to a balance under section 3.

5. Bookings

A voucher is a way to pay; it does not reserve a date. All bookings are subject to availability and to the booking terms at bog.ie/book/, including deposits and cancellation rules for the booking itself.

6. Lost or stolen vouchers

Please treat your voucher like cash and keep the code safe. We are not obliged to replace a lost voucher, but if you contact info@boglands.ie we will try to help using our order record. Once a code has been redeemed we cannot reissue its value.

7. Fraud and misuse

Vouchers must not be resold or offered for sale without our consent. We may refuse, cancel or suspend any voucher that we reasonably believe was obtained fraudulently, copied, altered or bought with a stolen payment card, and may report suspected fraud to the Gardaí.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer. If we cannot provide a booked experience, you will be offered a new date or the voucher value will be reinstated with the same expiry date.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@boglands.ie. You can also use the Small Claims procedure.
